Question: Michael jackson's death - charges being brought ?

LAPD are presenting their case to the District Attorneys office to charge Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray with involuntary manslaughter. Apparently the 'care' Jackson received was doubtful and his body was riddled with various prescription drugs. Wasn't this just like the Elvis Presley case and how did that end? Salus - this is on the news this morning.

Not the same as Elvis they were prescription drugs but Jackson's treatment i.e. the type of medication used maybe a different ball game and LAPD could have their case accepted. It will be interesting to watch this one!

According to the FBI none of the allegations against Micheal Jackson were ever proven. Its unlikely his Doctor will face any charges.

With Presley the case was a little different- he continually took a whole range of 'uppers' and 'downers' to cope with a hectic career. He always obtained his prescription drugs via various doctors/ dentists who were only too willing to help (if that is the correct word). But Presley's lifestyle and eating habits were greatly different to Jackson. Presley was a fast food fanatic and consumed cheeseburgers by the dozen and his heart could not take this diet- as well as the drugs.

I took one look at that doctor and did not trust him. It seems Michael Jackson was easily conned

Just why has it taken six months? jackson's doctor was administering drugs incorrectly and in his office and in jackson's home.....not in an operating theatre... why the delay in the case?
